Sometimes, it can be tiring to use your computer or smartphone to learn and hone your skills with the guitar using the internet or resources you’ve downloaded as a file.
In this page of Tube Radio, I will constantly add books that I recommend for you to read in order to learn more about guitar either in the beginner and advanced level, which of course I try to mention in the description of the book.
These books are also affordable so you don’t have to look for alternatives because they’re one of the cheapest that talks about a specific guitar topic.
Let’s start with a book that I consider unique among other guitar books. Zen guitar helps you go through times where you get frustrated when learning about the guitar. In short, it is as the name implies, Zen, which involves meditation to strengthen your will.
Fretboard Logic SE: The Reasoning Behind the Guitar’s Unique Tuning + Chords Scales and Arpeggios Complete
This is a popular book amongst guitarists and it specializes in teaching guitarists the practical application of learning the guitar rather than the technical or intellectual stuff.
Music Theory for Guitarists: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know But Were Afraid to Ask
This book talks about music theory and there are also concepts that aren’t exactly complex. In fact, it teaches you in the simplest manner so you don’t have to worry about getting mental blocks often.
Hal Leonard Guitar Method
This is one of my best recommendations if you’re looking to learn the guitar from scratch. Hal Leonard has a series of books and he talks about a lot of things, from the introduction of the guitar to the more advanced stuff.
Guitar Aerobics: A 52-Week, One-lick-per-day Workout Program for Developing, Improving and Maintaining Guitar Technique
This book is also in my favorites because it talks about a different topic, how to maintain your guitar. From cleaning, keeping in top shape, and more. Perhaps it was made since having a well-maintained guitar also improves the sound made by it.
